Three's a crowd

Inside the bookstore,

he jumped up into my lap...

glad he has a home.

So, today we took a short road trip to Lawrence, Kansas, did a little "jayhawking", and wandered into a used bookstore. The shop cat of years past had been replaced by one young and extroverted. As I sat to look at a book, he immediately jumped up into my lap, purring and circling to find the most comfortable position to take a nap. When I looked up, my husband was standing close by with a look on his face that could only mean that any addition to the two we already have, although tempting, would not be a good idea. Luckily, this furry feline was quite content having the shop to himself.
