Just for a moment

a short rest is well deserved

before trekking on.

In preparation for my Camino next April, I decided to experience what one day's walk might feel like. Although I did it in two parts, I ended up walking nearly 15 miles today. It was the first time I'd used my poles and am now convinced of their worth. Tonight, my legs and feet are tired and I can only imagine doing this for 34 more days in a row (which I will eventually do).  I have a formidable challenge in front of me and for now it's just one foot in front of the other...oh, with an occasional rest...and some alleve.
