Reflection
Walking in the woods,
drawn curiously closer,
I can see clearly.
Walking in the woods near Lake Perry this weekend, the trail led me dangerously close to a steep drop off. Drawn to the edge, I looked over to see what, at first glance, appeared to be "Kansas mountains". Taking a closer look, I could see that the "mountains" were simply reflections of the trees on the water far below. It was simultaneously surprising and beautiful.
